Job Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- Have a valid driver’s license in your name for car or scooter delivery
- Own a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- Have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- Be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- Have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- Submit Social Security number for background screening
- Access to a smartphone compatible with the Uber driver app
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- Knowledge of Sacramento city layout and neighborhoods
- Familiarity with mobile apps and GPS navigation
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Background screening clearance
Job Duties
- Accept delivery requests using the Uber Eats app
- Navigate efficiently to restaurant and customer locations
- Collect orders from restaurants and verify the items
- Deliver food promptly while maintaining quality and temperature
- Communicate with customers and support team as needed
- Manage and maintain vehicle or delivery mode
- Adhere to Uber's community guidelines and safety protocols
