Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- have a valid driver’s license in your name for car or scooter deliveries
- own a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- provide a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot deliveries
- pass a background screening by providing your Social Security number
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license or government-issued ID depending on delivery method
- ability to use smartphone and Uber app proficiently
- knowledge of Oakland and its neighborhoods
- good communication and customer service skills
- physical ability to carry and deliver food items safely
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests on the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from restaurants promptly
- deliver food orders safely and efficiently to customers
- navigate routes using GPS and maps
- maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and restaurant staff
- manage delivery time effectively to ensure timely arrivals
- adhere to safety and traffic regulations during deliveries
