Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- valid driver's license for car and scooter deliveries
- government-issued ID for bicycle or pedestrian deliveries
- vehicle requirements (2-door or 4-door car for drivers using cars
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery)
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- must pass background and driving record check
- possess a smartphone compatible with Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver's license (for car and scooter drivers)
- government-issued ID (for bicycle and pedestrian delivery)
- familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to use smartphone delivery apps
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver food and other items to customers in a timely manner
- maintain communication with customers and support staff
