Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- possess a valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- provide a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot deliveries
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a smartphone capable of running the Uber Eats app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for chosen delivery mode
- ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot
- basic smartphone proficiency to use Uber Eats app
- strong customer service skills
- knowledge of local Memphis area
- prior delivery or rideshare experience is a plus
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests using the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from restaurants promptly
- deliver orders to customers efficiently and courteously
- maintain communication with customers for accurate delivery
- follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- manage personal schedule and availability independently
- utilize GPS and route optimization for timely deliveries
