Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or foot
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for delivery by car
- possess a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID required for bicycle or foot delivery
- submit Social Security number for background screening
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license
- ability to pass a background check
- knowledge of the Long Beach area and local traffic regulations
- basic smartphone proficiency to operate the Uber Eats app
- strong time management and customer service skills
- ability to lift and carry food delivery packages
- dependable and self-motivated work ethic
Job Duties
- accept and complete food delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from restaurants and deliver them promptly to customers
- navigate routes efficiently using the Uber driver app and GPS technology
- maintain professionalism and courteous communication with customers and restaurant staff
- ensure timely and safe transport of orders
- manage earnings and delivery schedules through the Uber platform
- adhere to Uber’s safety and regulatory guidelines during deliveries
