Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- have a 2-door or 4-door vehicle if delivering by car
- motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- able to pass a background check
- must comply with Uber’s delivery policies and local regulations
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for mode of transportation
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- customer service skills
- familiarity with Lakeland routes and neighborhoods
- ability to use a smartphone and the Uber app proficiently
- strong communication skills
- previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver food and other items to customers promptly
- maintain communication with customers and support team
- use the Uber platform to accept and manage delivery requests
- adhere to local traffic laws and Uber safety guidelines
- keep delivery vehicle or mode in good working condition
- provide excellent customer service
- handle cashless transactions securely
