Job Requirements
- must submit Social Security number for background screening
- must have a 2-door or 4-door car when delivering by car
- must have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- able to work independently as an independent contractor
- must adhere to local traffic laws and Uber’s community guidelines
- must have a valid driver’s license in their name when delivering by car or scooter
- must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- possession of a government-issued ID
- familiarity with the Indianapolis area preferred but not required
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to use a smartphone and Uber driver app efficiently
Job Duties
- deliver food orders promptly and accurately to customers
- maintain communication with customers and support team for efficient deliveries
- ensure safety and compliance with local traffic and transportation regulations
- accept delivery requests and navigate to pickup and drop-off locations using Uber’s app
- provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall user experience
- manage delivery schedules flexibly according to personal availability
- handle payments and earnings through the Uber platform
