Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery and 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- have a valid driver’s license in your name if delivering by car or scooter
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- submit social security number for background screening
- have a smartphone capable of running the Uber app
- comply with local laws and Uber’s policies
- ability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license or government-issued ID depending on delivery method
- reliable access to a vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or ability to deliver on foot
- ability to use smartphone apps proficiently
- good communication skills
- knowledge of local geography and navigation systems
- background check clearance
- ability to work independently with flexibility
Job Duties
- delivering food and other items promptly and safely
- managing and navigating delivery routes efficiently
- maintaining excellent customer service and communication
- verifying order details and ensuring accuracy
- abiding by local traffic laws and Uber’s operational guidelines
- handling payments and tips through the Uber app
- keeping delivery equipment and vehicle in good condition
