Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- two-door or four-door car required for car delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- pass background screening requiring social security number
- ability to work as an independent contractor
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license where applicable
- ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot
- smartphone proficiency to use the Uber app
- knowledge of local routes and areas
- background check clearance
- basic customer service skills
- strong time management and organizational skills
Job Duties
- deliver food and goods promptly and safely
- manage own schedule and choose working hours
- communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- maintain vehicle or mode of transport in good condition
- comply with all local traffic laws and Uber guidelines
- complete deliveries using the Uber app and ensure accuracy
- provide excellent customer service to enhance rider experience
