Job Requirements
- minimum age of 19 for car or scooter delivery
- minimum age of 18 for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- social security number for background screening
- access to a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for the chosen mode of transportation
- ability to use smartphone apps effectively
- good communication skills
- basic knowledge of local geography and navigation
- familiarity with safety and hygiene standards for food delivery
- ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot
- background screening clearance
Job Duties
- accept and complete delivery requests promptly
- navigate efficiently to delivery locations
- maintain communication with customers and support staff
- ensure safe handling and timely delivery of food items
- manage earnings and track deliveries through the Uber app
- adhere to local traffic laws and Uber policies
- provide excellent customer service
