Job Requirements
- At least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- At least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- Valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- Motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- Vehicle with 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- Government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- Submission of Social Security number for background screening
- Ability to pass background check
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID depending on delivery method
- Ability to use smartphone apps proficiently
- Good knowledge of local geography in El Cajon area
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with vehicle or transportation mode being used for delivery
Job Duties
- Accept food delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- Navigate efficiently to restaurants and customer locations
- Pick up orders and verify accuracy before delivery
- Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery status
- Handle food orders with care to ensure quality during delivery
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience
