Job Requirements
- Submit a Social Security number for background screening
- Have a 2-door or 4-door car (if delivering by car)
- Possess a motorized scooter under 50cc (if delivering by scooter)
- Hold a valid government-issued ID (if delivering by bicycle or on foot)
- Be at least 19 years old for car or scooter deliveries
- Be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot deliveries
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage own schedule
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (for car and scooter drivers)
- Minimum age of 19 for car and scooter delivery, 18 for bicycle or foot delivery
- Ability to use smartphone and Uber Eats app proficiently
- Basic knowledge of Columbia geography and routes
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from local restaurants and deliver them promptly to customers
- Manage delivery schedule to maximize earnings and efficiency
- Ensure accuracy and quality of each order during transport
- Navigate Columbia and surrounding areas using GPS and app guidance
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Maintain vehicle or delivery equipment in safe, working condition
- Follow Uber’s safety and hygiene protocols
