Job Requirements
- minimum age of 19 for car and scooter delivery
- minimum age of 18 for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid government-issued ID
- valid driver’s license in your name for car and scooter delivery
- vehicle requirements based on mode of delivery (2 or 4-door car, scooter under 50cc, or bicycle)
- passing background check with Social Security number
- ability to perform deliveries independently
- smartphone ownership and internet access
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license (when applicable)
- ability to use a smartphone and the Uber delivery app
- good communication skills
- basic knowledge of Austin’s geography (preferred)
- physical ability to transport deliveries safely
- ability to work independently
- reliable transportation method (car, scooter, bicycle, or on foot)
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests on the Uber Eats platform
- pick up food orders from restaurants promptly
- deliver orders accurately and efficiently to customers
- maintain communication with customers through the app
- manage delivery routes and times to optimize earnings
- ensure compliance with Uber’s delivery guidelines
- provide excellent customer service during each delivery
