Job Requirements
- At least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- valid driver’s license in your name for car or scooter delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- at least 18 years old if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- pass criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- legal age to deliver (at least 19 for car/scooter, 18 for bike/foot delivery)
- own or have access to a vehicle that meets Uber’s standards for your chosen mode of delivery
- basic smartphone proficiency to use Uber driver app
- reliable and punctual with strong customer service skills
- ability to navigate Akron and surrounding areas
Job Duties
- Accept delivery requests through the Uber driver app
- pick up food orders from restaurants or grocery stores
- deliver food promptly and accurately to customers
- maintain communication with customers regarding delivery status
- follow safety and hygiene guidelines
- track deliveries and update order status in the app
- manage earnings and complete driver documentation
