Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- have a valid driver’s license in your name if delivering by car or scooter
- possess a government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- own a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a smartphone with data capabilities
- be eligible to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for drivers using cars or scooters
- government-issued ID for bicycle or on-foot delivery drivers
- ability to operate a vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or walk efficiently
- knowledge of local streets and neighborhoods
- access to a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
- strong customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from restaurants or food partners
- deliver orders promptly to customers
- maintain communication with customers and support if issues arise
- ensure food is handled and transported properly
- manage own schedule and work hours using Uber’s platform
- adhere to local traffic laws and Uber’s delivery standards
