This particular position is for a box truck driver based in Heath, Ohio, tasked with driving straight trucks or vans on local routes both intrastate and interstate. The role demands reliability, flexibility, and a strong focus on safety to ensure timely and secure delivery of various food and related products to Core-Mark’s valued customers. Drivers are home daily with no overnight stays required, and must be available to work Tuesday through Friday with flexible dispatch times. The driver is responsible for maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Core-Mark’s safety policies, including performing pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer. They must ensure freight is loaded and secured properly and complete accurate paperwork for all deliveries and returns. The job includes unloading and delivering goods directly to customers, obtaining signatures, and handling customer payments when necessary.
