Job Description

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is a prominent leader in the automotive distribution industry with a heritage spanning over 100 years. The company specializes in delivering tires, undercarriage parts, and lubricants to a diverse clientele including independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. As a division of U.S. Venture, a respected name in the logistics and distribution sector, U.S. AutoForce leverages extensive industry knowledge, cutting-edge logistics solutions, and a customer-focused approach to maintain its competitive edge in the market.

U.S. AutoForce is committed to not only delivering high-quality automotive products but also ensuring that every facet of its operations meets the standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The company employs advanced tracking technologies and an experienced team to manage complex delivery routes, emphasizing punctuality and reliability under various weather and traffic conditions.

The Driver role at U.S. AutoForce is essential to maintaining the company's outstanding reputation for dependable service. This position involves driving box trucks or other vehicles under 26,001 pounds along assigned routes, completing 10-20 deliveries daily. Drivers ensure that products reach customers safely and on time. The work schedule includes shift options from early morning until mid-afternoon, with flexibility depending on business needs and mandatory overtime from September through December.

Beyond driving, the role requires comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, accurate maintenance of logs such as driver’s logs and fuel purchase records, and adherence to all safety protocols. Physical stamina is necessary as drivers frequently lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical equipment used for heavier commercial tires. Drivers may also be required to exert physical effort in pushing materials like barrels or large agricultural tires.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with truck loading and unloading when necessary, operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and using handheld devices to track and confirm deliveries. Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and management is essential, as drivers are often the direct face of U.S. AutoForce to many clients. They may also collect payments upon product delivery.

U.S. AutoForce offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $20, coupled with weekly pay and a robust benefits package that fosters employee well-being and professional growth. Benefits include healthcare coverage effective from the first day of employment, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions and match, paid time off for vacations, holidays, and sick leave, as well as performance bonuses and reimbursement programs such as work boot reimbursement. Additional perks include tuition reimbursement and employee discount programs, underscoring the company’s commitment to investing in its workforce.

The work environment entails exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate noise levels, common in the automotive delivery sector. Safety equipment including steel or composite toe boots, safety vests, harnesses, and seatbelts are provided to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The company emphasizes adherence to safety and procedural compliance to maintain a secure work setting.

This role is integral for candidates who are physically fit, safety-conscious, customer-oriented, and capable of handling the demanding requirements of a delivery driver in a fast-paced logistical setting. U.S. AutoForce values diversity and inclusiveness, ensuring equal employment opportunities without discrimination. The company supports employees with accommodations for disabilities and maintains a workplace of respect and opportunity for all individuals.
