Job Requirements
- high school or GED degree
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- valid non-CDL driver’s license
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- capability to occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles
- availability for travel approximately 75% of the time without overnight stays
- adherence to company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
- strong customer service skills
- professional communication skills

Job Duties
- abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
- assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
- collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to company
- efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer’s place of business
- ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders accompanies shipments and is available for inspection
- maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving
- maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs, fuel purchase records, and mileage records
- occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- ensure timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
