The Delivery Driver (non-CDL) role focuses primarily on the timely and professional delivery of products to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and courteous interaction. This position requires responsible driving and adherence to all company safety policies as well as state and federal transportation regulations. Earning $18.75 per hour, the Delivery Driver is tasked with transporting products efficiently from the point of origin to the destination, as assigned. In addition to driving, this role involves unloading cargo, staging products at customer sites, and maintaining paperwork associated with each delivery to ensure compliance with company and legal standards. The driver represents the company in all face-to-face customer interactions, making professionalism and customer service paramount.

The job also calls for the proper handling and occasional operation of powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to facilitate product unloading and staging. Drivers must maintain detailed logs related to fuel consumption, mileage, and other records required by law and company policy to support regulatory compliance. This role is crucial to maintaining strong customer relationships, as the driver often serves as the primary point of contact during deliveries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in a variety of soft skills, including effective communication, decision-making, accountability, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring mobility and manual dexterity in various weather conditions. Travel comprises approximately 75% of the work with no overnight stays required for non-CDL drivers. Job Requirements

  • High school or GED degree
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles is a plus
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to adhere to safety policies and transportation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school or GED degree
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
  • Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
  • Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company
  • Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer’s place of business
  • Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery
  • Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving
  • Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy
  • Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.
  • Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
