The current opportunity at LKQ Corporation is for a Delivery Driver position, working a first shift Monday through Friday, with hourly pay ranging between $20 and $20.75. This role is essential to the daily operations of the company, focusing on the safe and efficient delivery of automotive parts to customers. The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, avoiding traffic violations and accidents. This position involves physically loading and unloading the delivery truck, verifying the accuracy and condition of parts handled, collecting payments, and obtaining signatures to confirm delivery accuracy. The Driver also manages returned items, ensuring they are delivered back to the appropriate location.
The role demands adherence to company policies and federal regulations, including those set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT). Drivers must successfully complete annual training and comply with safety and operational standards at all times. Exceptional customer service skills are paramount, as the Delivery Driver serves as a key representative of LKQ during product delivery and pick-up.
Physically, the job requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to be regularly engaged in activities such as standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs. The work environment may expose employees to varied temperatures and requires the use of personal protective equipment where necessary. Job Requirements

- Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
Job Qualifications

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Six months related delivery driving experience preferred
- Prior warehouse operations experience preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs
- Frequent use of Outlook, smart device, company supplied applications
- Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills
- May train others in functional areas and interact with others
- Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures

Job Duties
- Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- Physically load Company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made
- Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location
- Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location
- Collect accounts receivable, as necessary
- Comply with established Company policies and procedures
- Successful completion of annual training as assigned
- Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products
- Assume other duties as assigned
