As a Delivery Driver within our Logistics department, you will play a vital role in representing Thistle’s commitment to quality, reliability, and customer care. Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor, this position is hands-on and customer-facing, serving as the final step in delivering our high-quality plant-forward meals to consumers. Your duties go beyond transportation; you will be an ambassador of the brand, ensuring every delivery reflects our core values of health, convenience, and sustainability.

This role offers competitive compensation with a base pay starting at $20.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2.00 per hour based on delivery volume and hours worked. Employees also benefit from tips, typically ranging between $1.00 and $3.00 per hour, a cell phone reimbursement of $0.25 per hour, and mileage reimbursement at $0.725 per mile. With an average delivery pace of 4.5 deliveries per hour over about 4.0 miles per delivery, the fully loaded hourly rate before tips starts at approximately $33.03 and can reach between $34.03 to $38.03 including typical tips and pay escalators. Payroll is processed biweekly, with an option to access earned wages early through Tapcheck, which allows employees to receive money on their debit cards within 24 hours after each shift.

The Delivery Driver position requires punctuality, a strong customer service orientation, and a commitment to safety on the road. Drivers start each shift by arriving at the assigned Thistle location with a fully charged smartphone and sufficient fuel. They ensure that all delivery items are accounted for before setting out, use the dedicated delivery app to manage routes and complete stops according to customer instructions, and collect return bags and ice packs to bring back to the origin location. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the dispatch team is critical for keeping delivery routes efficient and timely. Flexibility is a key attribute of successful drivers, as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
