The Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive their purchased merchandise reliably, safely, and on time across assigned market areas. This position is responsible for managing delivery logistics, maintaining equipment, and consistently upholding the standards of the Tractor Supply and Petsense brands. The role requires the ability to operate delivery vehicles safely, including trailers when applicable, and to use various material handling equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks to efficiently load and unload bulky or heavy merchandise. Delivery Specialists are expected to perform vehicle inspections before and after their routes to maintain vehicle readiness and safety.

In addition to operational duties, this role places a strong emphasis on customer interaction, requiring delivery personnel to communicate clearly and courteously with customers, resolve any issues or concerns during delivery, and handle returns or exchanges when necessary. The Delivery Specialist is a vital part of the team, working closely with the field sales team and store personnel to ensure customer needs are met and to contribute to an overall Legendary Customer Experience.
