Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply are leading retailers catering to the agricultural community, pet lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. These companies pride themselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service, fostering trusted relationships with their customers in a range of markets throughout the country. Tractor Supply focuses on providing a variety of products related to farm life, livestock, pet care, and rural lifestyle needs, whereas Petsense specializes in pet supplies, grooming, and related services. Both companies prioritize their team members and offer rewarding career opportunities with comprehensive benefits packages that support employees' well-being and development. Their commitment to creating a positive work environment and delivering a legendary customer experience makes them attractive employers within their sectors. This position is a full-time employment opportunity with Truck Delivery Specialist positions, emphasizing reliability, safety, and excellence in service.

The Delivery Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive their purchased merchandise reliably, safely, and on time across assigned market areas. This position is responsible for managing delivery logistics, maintaining equipment, and consistently upholding the standards of the Tractor Supply and Petsense brands. The role requires the ability to operate delivery vehicles safely, including trailers when applicable, and to use various material handling equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and hand trucks to efficiently load and unload bulky or heavy merchandise. Delivery Specialists are expected to perform vehicle inspections before and after their routes to maintain vehicle readiness and safety.

In addition to operational duties, this role places a strong emphasis on customer interaction, requiring delivery personnel to communicate clearly and courteously with customers, resolve any issues or concerns during delivery, and handle returns or exchanges when necessary. The Delivery Specialist is a vital part of the team, working closely with the field sales team and store personnel to ensure customer needs are met and to contribute to an overall Legendary Customer Experience. The job demands physical stamina and agility to handle heavy merchandise safely and the ability to navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently using GPS systems and maps.

This position requires candidates to be at least 21 years old, possess a clean driving record, and hold a DOT Medical Card if required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior truck delivery or equipment operating experience is advantageous. The company values employees who demonstrate strong time management skills, a professional and friendly demeanor, and a commitment to safety and customer service excellence. With shifts that may include evenings and weekends, flexibility is important for success in this role.

At Tractor Supply and Petsense, team members enjoy an inclusive and supportive work environment with extensive benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life and disability insurance, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and family planning assistance. Part-time team members who meet hours requirements become eligible for benefits, reflecting the company's dedication to supporting employees at all levels. The Delivery Specialist role offers a meaningful career pathway for individuals who enjoy active, customer-oriented roles and seek to contribute to a company dedicated to rural life, pet care, and sustainability.
