This position is for a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver based out of Farmingdale, NY, primarily serving Long Island. The role involves delivering essential food and related products, playing a critical part in the nation’s food supply chain. Drivers are responsible for ensuring that products arrive promptly and in excellent condition while providing outstanding customer service and fostering lasting client relationships. The schedule is five days a week with early morning starts ranging from 3:00 am to 7:00 am, offering local routes that allow drivers to return home nightly and have weekends off. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- six or more months commercial driving experience
- valid CDL-A
- must be 21 years or older
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for the past three years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- attain or have valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- physical ability to hand-lift and use lift equipment for freight between 10 and 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
