The US Foods Delivery Driver role is a full-time position that operates Monday through Friday with start times between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM, allowing drivers to return home daily. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid CDL Class A license
- Must have minimum six months commercial driving experience or three months food/beverage delivery experience
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work in inclement weather and frequent stops
- Ability to communicate in English
- Registration to FMCSA Clearinghouse required
Job Qualifications
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food and beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred and may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Must register and maintain registration with FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations and register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
