The role of the Furniture Delivery Driver at BostonFAM is critical in bringing the company's mission to life. The Furniture Delivery Driver is entrusted with the responsibility of safely and efficiently transporting furniture and home goods directly to customers’ residences. Responsibilities include loading and unloading merchandise with the utmost care to prevent damage, and assisting with furniture assembly or placement as needed, ensuring the customer experience is seamless and positive from start to finish.

Operating within a schedule of Thursday through Sunday, the driver acts as the face of BostonFAM, representing the company with professionalism and a positive attitude at every delivery stop. Customer service is a key component of the role, requiring the delivery driver to provide knowledgeable, polite, and polite assistance while consistently seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations. Adherence to safety regulations and state laws regarding vehicle operation is an absolute must, alongside following company protocols to ensure the safety of both the driver and any passengers.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team environment, can establish priorities effectively, and uphold a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers and management. A valid driver’s license is required, with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not mandatory. Experience driving box trucks or vehicles larger than 26 feet is highly desirable due to the nature of the deliveries. Additionally, physical capability to lift and move heavy items weighing up to 100-150 pounds is essential to meet the demands of the position.
