The Delivery Driver role at US Foods involves safely operating trucks to meet scheduled delivery times, unloading products using equipment such as pallet jacks and two-wheelers, and placing items in designated storage areas at customer locations. Additionally, handling collections and payments from customers may be required when applicable. Physical stamina is important for this position, as drivers are required to lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing between 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly during their shifts. Working conditions often involve driving and making frequent stops in inclement weather. This role requires compliance with federal regulations, including registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a secure online database that tracks commercial driver’s license holders’ compliance with drug and alcohol program violations. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements, and have a minimum of six months commercial driving experience (or three months within the food and beverage industry). The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is preferred and may be required in certain locations. Strong communication skills in English are necessary to safely navigate highways, understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and accurately complete paperwork.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops

Job Duties
