This full-time position typically involves a Monday through Friday schedule, with dispatch times between 12am and 3am, and includes 1-2 night layovers depending on the route. Drivers are compensated generously, with training pay of $27.81 per hour and the potential to earn between $1,500 and $2,000 weekly under a component pay structure post-training. Drivers must be physically capable of lifting between 20 and 80+ pounds repetitively during every shift, demonstrating stamina and resilience to work under various weather conditions while making frequent stops.

To qualify as a US Foods Driver, candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Class A CDL with necessary endorsements, and have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, which may be reduced to three months if within the food or beverage delivery industry.
