The company's North Portland yard is currently looking for Class A Delivery Drivers who are motivated, reliable, and ready to take on an important role in the food distribution network.

As a Class A Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will play a vital role in the company’s operations by delivering a wide array of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. This role requires delivering best-in-class customer service, meeting scheduled delivery times, and maintaining consistent productivity. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical tasks such as unloading with a hand truck and repeatedly lifting items up to 80 pounds. The job involves making frequent stops throughout the work shift, adapting to various weather conditions, and verifying deliveries with customers. Occasionally, collecting payment may also be required.

The work schedule primarily involves early morning starts with shifts averaging four to five days per week, including weekends and possibly some overnights. The expected base pay ranges from $31.44 to $34.93 per hour depending on experience, education, and other factors. In addition to competitive pay, US Foods offers paid overtime.
