As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at US FOODS®, you will play a crucial role in the success and reputation of the organization. Earning $33.62 per hour, you will be an essential member of the transportation team, responsible for delivering a wide range of products including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to various customer drop-off sites. This role offers local routes with a work schedule from Monday to Saturday, starting between 12am and 6am until completion, allowing drivers to be home every night. This position emphasizes the importance of reliability, integrity, and exceptional customer service as you serve as one of the important faces of US FOODS®.
The job involves not just driving but also manual tasks such as unloading products using a hand truck, placing items in customer storage areas, and performing repeated heavy lifting of up to 80 pounds. Drivers must be prepared to make frequent stops during shifts and deliver products even in inclement weather conditions. The role demands a strong commitment to maintaining scheduled delivery times, verifying deliveries with customers, and ensuring the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- no more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
- minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required
- must be able to pass DOT physical
