This business unit operates a network of over 130 nuclear pharmacies that fill 65 percent of radiopharmaceutical unit doses nationwide. The role of a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver is critical within this framework as it involves the preparation and delivery of radiopharmaceutical products, ensuring that these sensitive and essential medications reach healthcare customers safely and timely.

This full-time position requires working 40 hours per week with a typical schedule of Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Flexibility to work different days, hours, and schedules is necessary based on business needs. The Nuclear Pharmacy Driver uses company vehicles to make deliveries and is responsible for packaging radiopharmaceutical medications, performing necessary testing, loading/unloading containers, and utilizing handheld tablets to scan orders and follow optimized delivery routes. Drivers must maintain vehicles and may perform minor roadside repairs, uphold safety standards, and complete general cleaning duties within the facility. The position demands a thorough understanding of processes and systems that support product delivery, including handling biohazard waste, radiation safety protocols, HIPAA compliance, and driving procedures.

The role requires physical capability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds, operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions during day or night shifts, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Hazmat endorsement, and demonstrate a flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call rotations, and potential overtime. The hourly pay rate for this role is $18.00.
