This job opportunity is for a Delivery Driver position located in Loveland, CO. This role is designed for individuals who want to establish a meaningful career with a leading food distributor, earning a competitive pay rate of $39.12 per hour. The schedule follows a four-day workweek, with shifts beginning between 8:00 pm and 2:00 am and running until all deliveries are complete. As a Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will be a crucial part of the supply chain ensuring that food products reach customers on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities include safely operating trucks to complete deliveries, unloading products carefully using equipment like two-wheelers and pallet jacks, and verifying delivery accuracy with clients. Drivers will also handle customer interactions, including securing signatures and processing payments when necessary. Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections are essential aspects of the role encompassing compliance with safety regulations.

Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry heavy products ranging from 20 to 80+ pounds repetitively during shifts, and comfort with driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stop requirements. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid CDL Class A license with the necessary endorsements and Department of Transportation qualifications. Job Requirements

  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language

Job Duties

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
