The role of a US FOODS Delivery Truck Driver is pivotal to the company’s mission of exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Delivery Truck Drivers are essential team members who contribute directly to the company’s success by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food and related products. This position offers local routes, allowing drivers to return home every night, with work schedules typically Monday through Friday starting early in the morning until all deliveries are completed. Drivers will be responsible for transporting a variety of goods, including meats, produce, frozen items, dry goods, groceries, equipment, and supplies to customer locations.

The role requires a strong commitment to customer service, safety, and efficiency. Drivers must be prepared to handle repeated manual heavy lifting of items weighing up to 80 pounds and deliver products under various weather conditions. Attention to detail is critical, as drivers verify deliveries and sometimes collect payments.
