MedTrans specifically focuses on delivering lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers, ensuring that critical supplies reach healthcare providers and patients efficiently and safely. The company prides itself on its commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence, striving to provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the U.S. population. This dedication not only supports healthcare institutions but enhances overall patient care by ensuring timely delivery of essential medical products. Medline offers a competitive total rewards package to its employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; 401(k) with company match; and opportunities for professional growth and development. As an employer, Medline emphasizes inclusivity, diversity, and belonging, creating a supportive workplace where everyone can thrive and grow their careers. The anticipated hourly salary for the Delivery Driver position ranges from $17.75 to $25.75, varying by location, experience, and skills. Medline also promotes work-life balance, especially by assigning local delivery routes that allow drivers to be home daily.
The Delivery Driver role at MedTrans is integral to Medline's mission of delivering essential medical products with care and precision. The driver is responsible for operating a parcel van or straight truck to transport products between Medline's facilities and various customer locations safely and efficiently. This role demands a high level of responsibility, as the deliveries directly impact patient care and medical facility operations. The Delivery Driver must load, secure, and unload products, perform vehicle safety inspections, and maintain accurate travel and cargo logs in alignment with federal and state regulations. Strong communication skills are essential, as the driver interacts regularly with customers to address their needs and provides documentation upon delivery. Equally, coordination with the dispatch team is crucial to adjust routes or schedules as needed to meet customer demands and maintain safety standards. MedTrans offers a supportive environment where safety is the top priority, and drivers are equipped with new trucks and equipment to carry out their duties effectively. The position is suited for individuals with a clean driving record, a valid U.S. driver's license, and the ability to meet federal and state commercial motor vehicle operating requirements. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience. With its focus on safety, customer service, and professional development, MedTrans provides a stable and rewarding opportunity for drivers who are committed to making a difference in healthcare delivery.
