The Delivery Driver role at Medline is an essential position responsible for the transportation and delivery of lifesaving medical products using Medline's private fleet of parcel vans and straight trucks. This position offers local routes that allow drivers to be home daily, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Drivers play a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with customers by ensuring deliveries are made safely, accurately, and on time. The role requires adherence to all federal, state, and company safety standards while maintaining clear and effective communication with dispatch and customers. The driver also manages vehicle inspections, cargo security, and delivery documentation to uphold the highest standards of service. This position is compensated hourly, with an anticipated salary range of $19.75 to $28.75 based on location, experience, and qualifications. Job Requirements

  • Valid US driver's license
  • valid commercial learner's permit (CLP) for Class B license if required by state
  • ability to meet federal and state requirements for commercial motor vehicle operation
  • clean driving record with no serious violations

Job Duties

  • Load and secure product from the Medline facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck
  • safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route
  • abide by Medline's safety regulations including wearing safety equipment and performing safety checks
  • unload and deliver products at customer facilities ensuring timely deliveries
  • provide in-person support to customers by addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation
  • communicate with dispatch regarding route or schedule adjustments
  • maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy
  • perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels
