Once dispatched by the Manager on Duty, drivers deliver food products and beverages accurately while handling payments either in cash or credit. After delivery, they return funds securely to the restaurant. Their work requires navigating local routes efficiently, handling multiple orders when necessary, and maintaining a courteous demeanor to support customer satisfaction. Delivery Drivers may also assist with production tasks back at the restaurant and participate in cleaning and restocking activities to prepare for subsequent shifts.

Physically, the role demands lifting, stooping, standing, walking, and working in varied temperature conditions, including areas near ovens that frequently exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The driver must have a valid driver’s license, proper personal vehicle insurance, and a qualifying driving and criminal record. Communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers. The mental alertness and self-control to work independently and handle stress are equally critical for success in this dynamic role.

This position offers delivery rates of pay and reimbursement for vehicle maintenance and mileage costs according to company policy and local factors.
