This role as an independent contractor driver involves delivering auto parts on designated routes throughout Michigan, primarily based out of Shelby Township. The position offers both full-time and part-time options, accommodating a variety of scheduling needs and lifestyle preferences. Drivers will operate their own personal vehicles, preferably small cars, which are well-suited for the transportation of auto parts. Compensation for drivers is structured as a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, with earnings determined per route and scaling based on route performance, dedication, and efficiency. Customers’ specific routes start from around $120 per day for full-time drivers, with settlement agreements negotiated individually.

This driver role demands punctuality, safety, and professionalism, as drivers will represent the company directly to customers during deliveries. Accordingly, strong customer service skills are essential to maintain positive interactions and ensure satisfaction. The position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the capability to lift and carry auto parts safely when necessary. Work schedules usually follow a Monday to Friday daytime shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with optional shorter routes available on Saturdays.
