This role is for a Delivery Driver and In-Shop Team Member at the Terrell, TX location. The delivery driver plays a crucial role in achieving Jimmy John's goal of getting sandwiches into customers' hands as quickly as possible. Success in this position hinges on learning the most efficient delivery routes, ensuring accuracy by double-checking orders, and safely hustling on the streets to meet customer expectations. Understanding that delivery is not just transportation but a customer service job is essential, as drivers must fulfill customer requests with friendliness and professionalism. Drivers earn competitive pay starting at $11 to $11.50 hourly in-store with split pay on the road. Including tips, drivers can average $18 to $25 per hour, taking home cash daily.

When not out making deliveries, drivers act as in-shoppers, preparing sandwiches quickly and accurately while maintaining strict adherence to portion sizes, recipes, and company procedures. The role also requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the store by cleaning floors, tables, windows, beverage stations, and restrooms. Drivers must be able to pass sandwich-making tests early in employment and at future intervals, demonstrating high standards of product quality.

Safety is paramount, with requirements including a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, a clean driving record, and at least two years of driving experience.
