Cardinal Health is a leading health care services and products company committed to improving the lives of patients and supporting medical professionals across the United States. With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, Cardinal Health delivers high-quality pharmaceuticals, medical products, and services to a broad range of health care providers, including hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and laboratories. Through its Pharmacy Services & Delivery division, Cardinal Health plays a crucial role in the distribution of specialized medications such as radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals, ensuring they reach medical care providers safely and efficiently.
This position is for a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver at Cardinal Health. The role is vital in the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to customer accounts along an assigned route. The driver prepares doses for shipment, packages cases, wipes doses, and handles loading and unloading of containers according to strict safety standards and Department of Transportation regulations. The work schedule typically involves 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rotating weekend shifts and on-call duties. Flexibility is required to accommodate different schedules based on business needs.
The Nuclear Pharmacy Driver will operate company vehicles, using technology such as handheld tablets for scanning orders, navigation, and route optimization. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle condition and performing minor roadside repairs, packaging medications, processing returns, and general facility upkeep. A strong emphasis on safety is maintained through adherence to biohazard handling, radiation safety, HIPAA compliance, and other training requirements. The driver must ensure timely and accurate delivery using the safest and most efficient routes.
This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and a $1000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Cardinal Health supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, health savings accounts, 401(k) plans, short- and long-term disability coverage, and resources to promote work-life balance and healthy lifestyles. Employees are encouraged to apply early for this opportunity, as the application window closes on March 30, 2026. The company actively promotes diversity and inclusion in its workforce, welcoming applications from veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a college degree.
