Job Description

The hiring company is a dynamic distribution and delivery service provider known for its commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Operating within the logistics and transportation industry, this company specializes in the delivery of products to various customer accounts, ensuring that goods are handled and transported with the utmost care and compliance. The organization places a strong emphasis on maintaining quality standards and adhering to all regulatory guidelines, including those set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations. The company fosters a culture of continuous improvement and values professionalism, reliability, and collaboration among its employees. With a focus on utilizing modern technology platforms and providing comprehensive training programs such as Badger University and the Driver Ambassador Program, the company equips its drivers with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed and deliver excellent service consistently.

The role available is that of a Commercial Driver who will be responsible for delivering assigned orders to customer accounts in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This position requires expertise in handling various delivery tasks including assembling customer orders, managing route expectations, and ensuring all deliveries comply with safety and regulatory standards. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and external customers to ensure that all interactions support continuous operational improvements. Additionally, thorough inspections of the delivery vehicle must be completed before and after trips, with any maintenance issues communicated promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Drivers are also tasked with handling paperwork related to deliveries, collecting payments when necessary, and assisting with returns processing as needed. The position may require flexibility in working hours and responsibilities, including supporting warehouse operations when needed and attending company meetings outside of scheduled workdays.

This employment opportunity is ideal for individuals who are proficient with technology, have strong customer service skills, and are detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Class B preferred, and between one to two years of CDL driving experience. A clean driving record and experience within a distribution or sales environment are also valued. Given the physically demanding nature of the job, candidates must successfully complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination to qualify for the role. If you are a professional, reliable individual seeking a fulfilling career in the transportation industry with opportunities for growth and development, this position offers an excellent platform to advance your skills and contribute to a reputable company.
