Job Requirements
- Valid drivers license with safe driving record acceptable to the company
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen (no THC) as legally permitted
- Obtain 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- Basic English language skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work additional hours including overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull up to 400lbs with assistance
- Perform occasional maneuvering of items up to 130lbs
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-year truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable driving experience
- Experience in high volume package delivery
- Ability to use GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned route
- Load truck as needed depending on volume
- Ensure safe work practices and foster safety culture
- Organize and load product for delivery utilizing the manifest for efficient routing
- Provide customer support including accepting product returns
- Use technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
