As a Delivery Driver at Staples, you will play a critical role in the supply chain ecosystem, responsible for safely transporting office supplies and products directly to customers on assigned routes. This full-time position operates from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for additional overtime as business needs dictate. Your responsibilities will extend beyond mere product delivery to include organizing and efficiently loading trucks based on manifests, ensuring the most effective delivery routes, and managing customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. You will be entrusted with the authority to manage product returns and address customer concerns, embodying the Staples brand while on the road. This position requires a conscientious focus on safety, from adhering to safe driving practices to maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing necessary inspections. Your familiarity with technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices will be essential in optimizing delivery schedules and providing accurate information.
