The role we are offering is that of a professional Delivery Driver responsible for the safe operation of vehicles while transporting materials. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to maintain constant awareness and adhere to safety protocols strictly. The Delivery Driver will provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and courteous delivery of orders. They will also be responsible for verifying that the materials loaded onto the vehicle match the delivery manifest and ship ticket, securing loads for safe transport, and unloading materials in an organized manner at the delivery location. Daily vehicle inspections are mandatory to guarantee maintenance and safety compliance. Additionally, this role includes responsibilities related to warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery, all while keeping the warehouse neat and orderly.

Candidates must also be prepared to undergo a pre-employment drug screening, verifying that they meet the health and safety standards required by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The testing follows the USDOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulation, which means that any positive test for substances, including THC without valid exemption, is not permissible. The position requires familiarity with Android or iOS operating systems for logging and managing deliveries.

The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent reading, writing, and basic mathematical skills, alongside the ability to work independently managing multiple tasks efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Physical fitness to meet federal motor carrier safety standards is essential, as daily duties involve walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds. The driver will regularly encounter varying weather conditions and must comply with the safety guidelines at customer sites, which could involve exposure to hazards such as loud noise and moving machinery.
