Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance
- Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record
- Must have clean, reliable and safe vehicle
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Ability to talk and hear on the telephone
- Near and mid-range vision
- Mid-range and distant vision for delivery
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods
- Ability to operate Domino’s specific equipment
- Ability to lift and carry items of up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong motor coordination and ability to operate delivery equipment
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Deliver pizza, sides and other menu items to customers
- Project a positive image to the customer
- Drive safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
- Know the store’s delivery area
- Ability to read area map(s)
- Take orders over phone and in person
- Greet customers within 10 seconds
- Build relationships with customers
- Handle cash effectively, including cash drops and reconciliation
- Report tips accurately
- Contribute to food preparation including making pizzas, preparing dough and restocking toppings
- Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked
- Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required
