As a Delivery Assistant at McLane, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery process that keeps the supply chain moving efficiently. This position is physically demanding and fast-paced, designed for individuals who enjoy active work environments and have strong teamwork skills. Unlike drivers, Delivery Assistants do not operate the trucks but provide essential assistance by managing deliveries alongside drivers. The role requires consistent bending, lifting, and walking, and every day presents the opportunity to interact with customers and uphold McLane’s reputation through excellent service. This position is on the third shift - overnight, offering a pay rate of $19.30 per hour.

In this role, you will work closely with Delivery Drivers to unload trailers, handle products safely, and ensure that every item reaches its designated food-safe storage areas promptly and accurately. Your attention to safety standards and cooperative spirit will help prevent injuries and product damages during the delivery process.
