Job Description

Ricoh is a global leader in integrated solutions and technology services. The company specializes in connecting people with technology to create exceptional customer experiences while driving business innovation and success worldwide. Ricoh's commitment to empowering digital workplaces allows organizations to work smarter from any location, managing and sharing information efficiently to unlock their full potential. Ricoh provides a broad range of services and technological solutions designed to inspire customer success and guide businesses toward a more sustainable and productive future. Known for its high-performance culture, Ricoh fosters a purpose-driven and collaborative environment where employees can thrive and contribute to meaningful progress in the technological and business landscape.

The Delivery & Install Driver role at Ricoh is a critical position responsible for the safe and efficient pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment to various customer locations. The driver will not only ensure that all equipment arrives safely and on time but may also be required to perform basic installation and networking tasks on delivered devices, such as setting up IP addresses, downloading print drivers, and providing training to customers on operating standalone and networked printing devices. Meeting all federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and delivery safety standards is essential for this position.

This role requires a strong commitment to professionalism and quality as the driver represents Ricoh directly to customers, influencing future purchase decisions through customer service excellence and technical knowledge. In addition to driving, the Delivery & Install Driver will be responsible for maintaining their vehicle to DOT standards, managing delivery documentation accurately, performing inventory cycle counts, and occasionally operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. The role demands physical stamina as it involves lifting heavy equipment (up to 100 pounds regularly and up to 1000 pounds with assistance) and frequent bending and kneeling.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of medium-duty truck driving experience, maintain a valid commercial driver's license when applicable, and hold a current medical card. The ability to navigate routes using maps and electronic GPS, complete on-the-job technical training, and demonstrate strong customer communication and problem-solving skills will be vital for success in this position. Overnight stays may be required based on DOT regulations or during peak periods, reflecting the dynamic and demanding nature of the job.

Joining Ricoh as a Delivery & Install Driver offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive, innovative work environment with competitive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, retirement savings plans, tuition assistance programs, and paid time off, illustrating Ricoh's investment in the well-being and development of its employees. If you have a passion for driving, technical skills, and delivering superior customer service, Ricoh invites you to create with them and be part of a team dedicated to excellence and customer success.
