This job opportunity is for a Deli/Food Service employee who will be integral to the culinary operations within Buc-ee's stores. The role is hourly, with a competitive salary starting at $18.00 per hour, combined with an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, three weeks of paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with a 100% company match up to 6%. The Deli/Food Service employee will work across various food preparation stations, handling an assortment of menu items such as BBQ, baked goods, sandwiches, tacos, jerky, fudge, and more. This role requires quick learners who are adaptable and can maintain efficiency without compromising quality or safety. Employees are expected to prepare food items strictly following Buc-ee's unique recipes while ensuring confidentiality and upholding the brand’s culinary standards.

A key part of the job includes adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to guarantee safe food handling at all times. Employees will also need to utilize kitchen equipment and technologies such as ordering kiosks, kitchen management systems, ovens, slicers, fryers, and other appliances effectively and safely. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation while managing multiple orders promptly is essential to provide a seamless food service experience to customers.

Customer interaction is a critical component of the role. The ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, and capable of delivering excellent service with a smile. The position requires working flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts between day and night.
