Key responsibilities include following company-specific culinary recipes strictly, handling food with care to maintain safety and quality, and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines meticulously. The employee will also maintain a clean and organized workstation, operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers safely, and use technology including Menu Ordering Kiosks and Kitchen Management Systems efficiently. Communication skills are essential, as employees must coordinate with management and teammates to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences. Flexibility is important, as the role may require working weekends, holidays, and rotating day-night shifts. Regular and prompt attendance is expected, and employees must be physically capable of performing the job duties which include prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as handling materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Restaurant or retail experience preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, climb, reach, balance, push, and pull items weighing 40 pounds or more
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in restaurant or retail food service preferred
- Experience as a kitchen line cook, busser, server, expediter, or service staff is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow recipes and health guidelines
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to use kitchen equipment and technology systems
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery offerings, jerky, fudge, BBQ, and other menu items according to recipes
- Adhere to company culinary recipes and measurements
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Guarantee safe food handling
- Use various kitchen equipment and appliances safely including floor mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers
- Use Menu Ordering Kiosks and Kitchen Management Systems competently
- Maintain a clean workstation and execute orders quickly
- Communicate effectively with store management and team members
- Work weekends and holidays as needed
- Perform duties outside normal responsibilities as required
- Work a rotating schedule including day and night shifts
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
