Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
  • ability to work in temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
  • availability for regular and predictable full attendance
  • ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
  • willingness to adhere to club policies and procedures
  • ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
  • knowledge of deli products preferred
  • work experience in a deli department preferred
  • ability to provide high-level customer service
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • slices, packages, and weighs deli products including meats and cheeses
  • maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli and deli display cases
  • provides assistance and excellent customer service to members in the deli department
  • prepares and packages special orders and party trays
  • receives, inspects, stocks, rotates, and stores deli shipments following food safety and freshness policies
  • operates deli equipment safely and cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces regularly
  • ensures scale systems are accurate and priced correctly
  • adheres to all club policies and procedures
  • works collaboratively with team members and supports club standards
