Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • food handlers certificate (ServSafe or ANSI compliant)
  • 18+ years old
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic math skills
  • conversational English skills
  • physical ability to frequently lift/carry 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk constantly during workday
  • ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
  • ability to handle exposure to food allergens, extreme temperatures, wet and dry conditions
  • ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment safely
  • wear non-slip, water and oil resistant closed-toe shoes

Job Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • basic knowledge of Oliver's kitchen recipes
  • basic cooking and grilling skills
  • demonstrates proper food handling and safety procedures
  • team-player who can work independently with minimal supervision

  • ability to follow directions and procedures with attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Complete prep work for various deli areas including panini and sandwich prep
  • Follow and complete daily production sheets
  • Aid in preparation of products according to company specifications and recipes
  • Wash, soak, cut, peel, and chop ingredients by hand or machine
  • Package, weigh, and label products using Cry-O-Vac (ROP) when appropriate
  • Consistently check and record all food temperatures in proper logs
  • Practice FIFO product rotation to control spoilage and waste
  • Organize, rotate, and stock workstation and department supplies
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, fryers, and ovens
  • Answer phones promptly and courteously
  • Follow established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately to supervisors
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
