Job Requirements
- Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Working knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- General knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills especially during peak hours

- Experience in a deli or restaurant setting preferred
- Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles preferred
- Experience with inventory management preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches salads and hot foods following recipes and maintaining food quality
- Operate grilling equipment to cook meats and other items to perfection
- Provide excellent customer service addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to sanitation guidelines and food safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management including stocking rotating products and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operation and efficient service
- Practice food safety and sanitation procedures including proper handling and storage of food items
- Monitor food quality and presentation ensuring all items meet established standards
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues and customers
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment fostering teamwork and positivity
