Job Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
  • Working knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • General knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills especially during peak hours

  • Experience in a deli or restaurant setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles preferred
  • Experience with inventory management preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches salads and hot foods following recipes and maintaining food quality
  • Operate grilling equipment to cook meats and other items to perfection
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation adhering to sanitation guidelines and food safety protocols
  • Assist with inventory management including stocking rotating products and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operation and efficient service
  • Practice food safety and sanitation procedures including proper handling and storage of food items
  • Monitor food quality and presentation ensuring all items meet established standards
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with colleagues and customers
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment fostering teamwork and positivity
