Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to operate deli slicing and weighing equipment
- Capability to lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work in temperature-varied environments including freezers and ovens
- Availability for regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- Prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice deli products including meats and cheeses
- Package and weigh deli items accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting members and answering questions
- Prepare and package special orders and party trays
- Receive and inspect deli shipments ensuring quality standards
- Stock, rotate, and display deli products according to food safety policies
- Clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces regularly
